Microzine, London

We were kindly invited to the launch of Microzine's new lifestyle store in London, so we just had to go. Situated in Kingly Court off Carnaby Street the new store features all the top product found in their Liverpool abode but is complemented by a vast aray of fantastic fashion boutiques and a really nice courtyard cafe. It was a bit touch and go wether I was going to stay the night or catch the last train home, but when i bumped into a couple of friends from Liverpool and was invited to stay with them the party got started again and was most enjoyable...well, until we got to the after party at China White. What is that place about. Tip - not cool. Other than that great night. Best of luck to Microzine, London.

A Bit Of A Late One .......

It's been pretty hardcore lately here at B&G towers, a project that we are working on for Channel 4's June Sarpong meant turning our back room into a 'War Room' for the past two weeks, and lead to a succession of very late night's and early mornings!

Arena Awards... and a bit more....

What a great week! Alex and I spent Thursday night in London for the 'Arena Mens Magazine Entrepreneur Awards 2007'. Although nominated we didnt quite make the final (unlike our good friend and collaborator Stephen Helsby, director of EVOLVE 3D productions, who was pipped at the post by a bloke who invented some gungy stuff?). It didn't stop the guys having a jolly good time, poor Rachel Stevens didn't know what had hit her. Naughty Boys.

Utility online

Sometimes one has to look deep within for the answers. Other times that just isn't necessary and just talking to the client can give you a more effective solution. Re-designed in 2006 www.utilitydesign.co.uk has grown from strength to strength. If you like cool contemporary designy bits, a visit is a must.
