TATE liverpool celebrated their 20th birthday this weekend with an unconventional party. Northern soul tunes 'rocked' the foyer of the TATE with a pic a mix of attendees (including myself). Either way it was a gallant effort from the newly furbished gallery. Black and Ginger are most definitely MATES of TATE. Happy Birthday.
Alex and Huw popped down to London for the Turner Prize Retrospective Exhibition Party with lovely clients Milligan on Tuesday night. It was rather good....

I (matt) had a little jaunt across the channel over the weekend for my 1st wedding anniversary to Paris (took my wife too). Thought i would do the whole tourist thing so went to see that painting -
ate some fresh local produce ...
And saw the best afro ever..
I also ate some steak tarter - raw as f*ck - I now feel very bad... very very bad.
We were kindly invited to the launch of Microzine's new lifestyle store in London, so we just had to go. Situated in Kingly Court off Carnaby Street the new store features all the top product found in their Liverpool abode but is complemented by a vast aray of fantastic fashion boutiques and a really nice courtyard cafe. It was a bit touch and go wether I was going to stay the night or catch the last train home, but when i bumped into a couple of friends from Liverpool and was invited to stay with them the party got started again and was most enjoyable...well, until we got to the after party at China White. What is that place about. Tip - not cool. Other than that great night. Best of luck to Microzine, London.
What a great week! Alex and I spent Thursday night in London for the 'Arena Mens Magazine Entrepreneur Awards 2007'. Although nominated we didnt quite make the final (unlike our good friend and collaborator Stephen Helsby, director of EVOLVE 3D productions, who was pipped at the post by a bloke who invented some gungy stuff?). It didn't stop the guys having a jolly good time, poor Rachel Stevens didn't know what had hit her. Naughty Boys.
Rain, mud and more rain and a bit of music in between. The Knowlsy Music Festival, need I say more.
